What it is, in plain words
Three HDMI devices, one TV input: the console, the set-top box and the streaming stick can all stay plugged in, and you choose which one the TV shows. Press the button on the switch, use the small remote, or let the switch jump to whichever device you turn on.

The aluminium case is palm-sized and LEDs show the active input. It passes 4K video at 30 Hz or 1080p at 60 Hz, and it normally takes its power from the HDMI connection, so there is no adapter to plug in.
A very long or old HDMI cable can limit the picture, so use good-quality cables of reasonable length on the inputs.
